Mayne Stage is proud to announce our very first Lakeshore Presents show featuring some of the best local comedians in Chicago. STACEY NORGREN, former Lakeshore Theater bartender turned stand-up comedian, hosts the night featuring DREW MICHAEL, BETH STELLING, JUNIOR STOPKA, MIKE STANLEY and more!
DREW MICHAEL is arguably the most honest comedian working in Chicago today. Charming the stage with a dark perspective and brutal honesty that no one is immune from, including himself. Drew co-produces and performs in the local, independent Chicago stand-up comedy showcase Comedians You Should Know.
Wry, witty, cunning, and crass MIKE STANLEY tours constantly, both domestically and internationally. Named one of Comedy.com’s Top 20 Stand-up Comedians in Chicago, Stanley recently became the subject of a feature-length documentary, Salty Language, Peppered Morals, which follows him on the road to the Boston Comedy Festival and explores the intricate inner-workings of his explosive onstage persona.
The affable BETH STELLING has been named a “Comedian to Watch” by the Chicago Tribune and was the youngest performer to be featured on Comedy.com’s Top 20 Stand-up Comedians in Chicago.
JUNIOR STOPKA is a Chicago-born stand-up comedian. He began doing stand-up in 2005 after a successful career in amateur boxing. In 5 years, Stopka has become a local favorite, also being named one of Comedy.com's Top 20 Comics in the city.
Most recently, STELLING and STOPKA tied for the Chicago Reader's Best Stand-Up Comedian Award of 2010.
Only $5, this is a show not to be missed!
