These photos are of the IEPA (Illinois Evironmental Protection Agency), inspecting the North Shore School demolition site for contaminants that could poison residents of Rogers Park.

The demolition was ordered to stop, but Swanette Triem, had it continued over the evenings and weekends when the IEPA would not be watching. this poisoned the air of thousands of nearby residents with asbestos and other hazardous substances. Alderman Joe Moore approved the rezoning, then demolition after accepting campaign contributions. You can read more about this here: http://rp1000.blogspot.com/2010/02/its-time-to-revisit.html.

Even the walls are falling apart

The bridges, the train stations, and even the walls in Rogers Park are falling to pieces.

It's a mile-long eyesore that Joe Moore and Kim Barnes have been, and plan to continue covering up with layer after layer of paint.

It's getting so bad, that even the gangs are contributing paint to the walls.

Attention should be paid to our safety concerns about the crumbling train bridges in Rogers Park.

But of course, whoevers job it is to fix these things seems to be sleeping on the job.
