Bill's Digital Photos
A look at Bill's Digital Photos in action at Loyola Park Beach on Labor Day
Here is some information on an independent photographer that has contributed to Rogers Park in 1,000 Words on many occasions, Bill's Digital Photos.
I am a reliable, Chicago based, independent photographer. My photography specialty range from family celebrations, birthday parties, anniversary and special events to large corporate events.
I have successfully photographed large activities as the American Cancer Association Walk and Roll fund raising event held in downtown Chicago for the past 6 years; the Chicago Flower and Garden Show held at Navy Pier for the last two years and other annual events including the Rolling Thunder's Toys For Tots events. These photos are available for inspection upon request.
To balance my background, I enjoy creating group shots from family backyard parties and I also enjoy taking portrait and glamour shot photography.
Photography is an art. I produce quality digital photos, artistic as well as candid images. Color photographs as well as black & white photography are available. Professional photography equipment and friendly service, before and after, are standard with every photo captured. I always bring backup equipment to each photography event.
I keep overhead costs down with a simple business plan. I am an "on location" photographer only. Have Camera / Will Travel.

I have been experimenting with flickr since 2008. Now, I have released the new Rogers Park profile with some familiar and some previously unreleased photos.
They claim "Flickr is the WD-40 that makes it easy to get photos or video from one person to another in whatever way they want". I hope to organize hundreds of thousands of unreleased Rogers Park photos so that I can display the best of on Rogers Park in 1,000 Words.

Fire and Lightning - Rogers Park

There is lightning on the horizon in Rogers Park, and I'm hosting the Friends of Bill Morton Spring Fire tonight.
I would like to up the ante and offer a one hundred dollar prize to the first of my guests to take a photo that includes both my bonfire and a strike of lightning hitting Lake Michigan.
RSVP required.

While reviewing photography of Rogers Park the other day, these were found together on my desk. Even though taken on seperate occasions, they complement each other well.

Rogers Park - Show map Lerner Hole.jpg
Bill Morton - This is a photo of the contaminated Lerner Hole in Rogers Park at Howard Street and Ashland. I wrote a story about it here: http://rp1000.blogspot.com/2010/02/its-time-to-revisit.html
Feb 18 RH - Thank you so much for this info. I live directly across the street from this hole. I was told that they would be building condos on this site.
Feb 25 Bill Morton - Tell me more! I am very interested in this.
Feb 25 RH - Well I really dont know any more than that lol. Thats what I was told by a few people including my landlord when I moved into the building. The only thing I have noticed is 2 or 3 dump trucks per day coming to dump dirt in the hole. They did it for a couple of months this past fall. Since the winter I have not seen the dump trucks, but this afternoon a flatbed cam and dropped off a bulldozer at the site. I can e-mail you a couple of pics I took today of the site if you want them. 3:47 pm
Bill Morton - I would love to check out your Lerner hole pics. 6:36 pm
RH - Here are the 2 photos I snapped this afternoon.

Stephanie Fitzgerald - RH, it says the photo has been removed. 11:11 pm
RH - It should be fixed now. Sorry. 11:11 pm
Stephanie Fitzgerald - Yes they are working, thanks for the photos! I think I can see Bill in the second one!! You gotta zoom in! 11:16 pm
Bill Morton - Very Awesome! Hopefully the one where you can see me, It was not when I slipped on the ice! I was seriously laughing at myself in this moment. 11:20 pm
