New Security Precautions after Alley Beatdown

Even though the blood from the recent beatdown remains in the gravel lot over a week afterwards,

Property managers at 7301 N. Sheridan Road have taken precautions in an attempt to prevent this from occuring again...

by moving the garbage dumpster closer to the rear entrance of the building,

and installing a new lighting system.

Puddle of Blood

It's another rainy night in Rogers Park, and it's coming down hard.




Looking back on the crime scene at 7301 N. Sheridan Road., a puddle forms of the blood of a 17 year old who was beat down yesterday by two men.

Alley Fight Ends in Bloodbath

Eye witness account:

"What I heard was that sometime last night a 17 year old male living at 7301 North Sheridan Road went to throw out the trash. When he left the building, two individuals jumped and beat the man severly. At least twelve squad cars were on the scene and the man was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The 17 year old's father broke up the fight and the two individuals ran away. Not sure if this was gang related but it sure seems like it. Police had the entire area in the back of the building taped off even this afternoon. "
