Grammar Gal,
ReplyDeleteRead up on our Post Office. It's not a private company and therefore cannot have private property. While it may not be legal for Moore or anyone else to tape, glue, paperclip or otherwise attach anything to Post Office property, you need to get your facts straight. Opinions based upon dubious facts are not opinions, but delusions.
The USPS is an "independent establishment of the executive branch of the Government of the United States," (39 U.S.C. § 201). Talk to Joe Friday about facts, you could learn a thing or two.
While you're out checking facts, why don't you look into modern recycling methods. Recycling services provided by waste haulers throughout Chicagoland have been collecting glossy paper for years.
So, then Bob, since you seem to be such an expert, do you too, condone the 'spray-mounting' (GLUING) of this poster? Would you like to go and remove it with the necessary petroleum-based products which are quite dangerous to inhale?
ReplyDeleteAnd if the Postal Service is, as you say, an independent establishment of the executive branch of the Governement of the US, would I be better to just demand to talk to
BARRY about this? I mean, HE knows Chicago, doesn't he? Still? Or did he just write it off when he 'moved' to DC?
Secondly, why would I even want to talk to Joe?
Thirdly, I would ask you Bob, to watch the man you are backing. Nobody else is.
And lastly, if I had a sample of the paper, I could take it to a lab, and determine its disintegrability, hence "recycleableness". But it was GLUED ON TO THE USPS HOLDING BOX! Help me out here, BOB.
I STILL THINK IT'S A CRIME, JOE'S CRIME!
