There are also a lot of criminals, violent characters, and dirty politicians that need to be focused on, to make Rogers Park a better place.

My blog often gets pigeon-holed as negative for showing our neighborhood in ruin via: photographs, but I feel that these issues have to be addressed rather than ignored to improve life in our community.

Rogers Park may not be the safest or prettiest community in Chicago, but ignoring basic issues such as violence, gang activity, and political corruption, will only allow it to become worse".
