  2. Sometimes its good to get some new blood in there. A new start. They fixed up that subway real nice in the past year, there are also Igo parking spots for cars.

    Is it the same owner?
In general its nice to have some variety even with gas stations. Too bad it can be a sinclair, since all gas/oil is is dead dinosaurs etc.....

  3. Nice pic of the truck going down the street full of gas pumps. Hilarious.....

  4. Based on the links I provided earlier, the Rogers Park Citgo had it's share of problems including open-air drug deals, shootings, major gang graffiti and likely unsafe gas pumps.

The Citgo was also notorious for giving incorrect change and no receipts.

The owners of the Citgo also own the Subway. I'm not sure if the new Shell station is also under the same ownership, as I have not met with the owners since the change yesterday.

Either way, I hope that this positive change lasts a long time before getting wrecked up like the Citgo was.

That photo of the truck driving away with the old gas pumps was a "must post" situation.

  5. Citgo to Shell: Will the change in company gas change the crime at the intersection? Will it bring a badly needed police camera? Will it bring cheaper gas? Will it bring a winning lottery ticket? Maybe we just have to be happy with subway special.
