49th Ward Democratic Party Board afraid to endorse

The 49th Ward Democratic Party Board is afraid to endorse a Mayoral candidate unless they feel it is a sure thing.

Loyola Student Dispatch reports:

The 49th Ward Democratic Party also voted to endorse Illinois State Representative Susana Mendoza for City Clerk. Mendoza earned 86.4 percent of the vote, over her opponent, Commissioner of Water Reclamation, Patricia Horton, who received 15.6 percent.
