I spent an hour of my day today chatting with one of the owners of The Armadillo's Pillow, a local book shop on Sheridan Road in Rogers Park.
We spoke about how the business started, how 16 years in business has been and the current situation that the business is facing. The Armadillo's Pillow is trying to raise funds to stay in business.
Many have told me over the past ten years, that they have passed by but never stopped into the store. Others have told me that they visited the store and thought that it was wonderful experience but never bought anything.
I am encouraging my readers to go out of their way to stop into The Armadillo's Pillow and make a purchase to save this local small business.
I will also be posting new photos every day of the books, handmade jewelery, art, and even Rogers Park roasted bags of coffee...
