These are excellent and exemplify how Rogers Park can become a wholesome community once we have a true leader.
Even the lake looks tamed in your lens!
We need more LOVE in and OF our neighborhood, ward, city, state and nation. That was the gist of Elizabeth Alexander's poem read at today's inauguration of President Barack Obama.
Her words were:
"What if the mightiest word is love, love beyond marital, filial, national. Love that casts a widening pool of light. Love with no need to preempt grievance."
We should all take a few deep breaths and sit in a quiet place, then think about what these wrods, simply words, truly mean.

And so do I. Rogers Park is a great place. But the likes of you and Grammar Gal make it even better.
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys!
ReplyDeleteWonder how this ranks on Alderman Joe Moore's "Negativity Chart"?!
Wonder why we are paying Alderman Joe Moore and his staff to be blog critics instead of focusing on solving our Crime Infestation?
