Smoking banned on Beaches ?

Smoking may soon be banned on beaches, parks and playgrounds.

If this is approved, there will be a $500 fine for offenders.

UPDATE: Later that day, the ban was approved and immediately inacted.

  1. In England they recently banned smoking inside pubs, restaurants and places of work. Now you see hordes of people OUTSIDE pubs smoking and dropping all the fag ends outside - despite a supposedly £50 fine for littering - it seems solving one problem has simply created another.
