Happy Birthday Bill Morton!

Bill Morton has worked hard on behalf of Rogers Park for many years. I think that, on his birthday, it would be great if people could acknowledge some of his many accomplishments. There are many I'm aware of, and I'm sure many more that I'm not even aware of.

in July of 2001 he created Word49 to discuss issues in the 49th Ward.

In June of 2007 he created Rogers Park in 1,000 Words to discuss issues in Rogers Park

In April of 2009 he founded the Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce, which he to this day presides over
In December of 2009 he created Bill Morton Promotions and it is still running and fully operational today, with more success now than in prior years.

Those are a few of the endeavors he has taken on. That's not including being active on Willye B. White's Park Advisory Board, attending Loyola and Touhy Park Advisory Board meetings, attending CAPS regularly, and having worked at Quest Network Services for over 13 years.

Bill Morton's been a very busy and active guy. Keep up the good work and enjoy your birthday!
